Do you give immigration or visa advice?
No. Drs Rego does not provide immigration or visa advice. Visa and migration matters are referred to an independent, registered migration practice — we can make that introduction on request, and we coordinate with them so your registration and visa timelines stay aligned.
Which pathway am I on?
It depends on where you qualified, your specialty and your exam history. Most internationally trained GPs are on the standard pathway; doctors from certain jurisdictions may be eligible for the competent authority pathway, and specialists are assessed separately. Our Career & Pathway Assessment answers this formally, in writing.
Do I need a new PESCI if I change clinics?
Not always. A PESCI is tied to the position, not just to you — but where the new role is similar in scope, setting and supervision level, an exemption can sometimes be sought. We assess this honestly before you commit to the cost and preparation of a fresh interview.
How do we work together if I am overseas or rural?
Entirely remotely. Documents are exchanged securely online, meetings run by video at times that work across time zones, and every step is confirmed in writing. Most of our doctor clients are overseas or in regional Australia — the process is built for it.
